The 2025 All Star Monster Truck Tour points series is officially underway after two action-packed events at The Florida Sports Park in Naples, Florida – and Preston Perez and Toxic were able to capitalize and take away the early series lead.

The team – consisting of team leader and Illuminator driver Cory Snyder, Toxic driver Preston Perez, and seasoned crew chief Zach Winchenbach – ventured from the snowy hills of Montgomery County, Maryland to sunny and warm Naples, Florida to start the 2025 Winter Tour last weekend. After some last-minute hardware checks and fuel adjustments, Toxic and Illuminator were set to kill.

At Event #1, it was Preston Perez who would take the early series points lead after a racing bracket and freestyle competition winning combo. Perez and Toxic also claimed the #2 fastest qualifier spot. Snyder and Illuminator claimed the fastest qualifying spot and made the finals right next to Perez and Toxic.

During Event #2, Cory Snyder put his years of driving experience to work to put out the best performance possible while dealing with a minor engine valve train issue. Despite being down on power, he found his way to the podium with a 3rd place finishing position in the series points. Preston Perez and Toxic continued the hot streak and once again doubled-down with a racing and freestyle victory – including a successful jump over the infamous Sippy Hole, a 70+ foot gap over the track’s retaining pond.

Snyder, Perez, and Winchenbach are hard at work to get Illuminator back to 100% while Toxic is undergoing its rigorous weekly maintenance program so that Warped Motor Sports can continue its winning ways at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie, Florida this Saturday and Sunday!
